Ms. Wajeeha is a licensed Occupational Therapist from DOH with a degree named “BS Occupational Therapy”. She possesses a decade of substantial experience focusing on developmental disorders, neuromuscular issues, sensory integration disorders, modifications and training for ADLs, and Pediatric Rehabilitation in Pakistan. At present, employed at Burjeel Medical City as an occupational therapist in the therapy department and schools, collaborating with parents, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists and speech therapists to enhance children’s performance and progress over time. Effectively and proficiently addressed a range of different disorders by employing evidence-based practices and methods using the most current techniques essential for enhancing and rehabilitating patients. She possesses a research background along with clinical experience, and her articles appear in national and international journals acknowledged by the Higher Education Commission on various developmental disorders, including ADLS in ASD and cognitive impairment in children with Down’s Syndrome.
